Oh, Cass. There's a difference between your lasso and the golden arrow in the story, though. Your lasso has a purpose, and you use it for good. It's gold, but not inflexible, heavy and impractical. It's supposed to be gold. Maybe the golden arrow could be made like that, but Robin's is meant to lure him into a trap by appealing to his pride, so I think it probably would be too stiff and too heavy to be used--ornamental.
