And I wonder if God is trying to make a fool out of me

Cissie King-Jones was once a member of Young Justice as Arrowette, until she quit because she nearly killed a man for murdering her mother-figure/therapist. She has a complicated relationship with her over-bearing, chain-smoking, FBI-agent-dating mother, whose parental custody was revoked when Cissie was fourteen on charges of child-endangerment. The man she called "Daddy" died when she was five, but she has since learned that her biological father is Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow.

After quitting the hero business, Cissie qualified to compete in the Summer Olympics and won a gold medal for archery.

Cissie has recently graduated from the Elias School for Girls in Pennsylvania and is very much in love with Tim Drake [[info]mrsarcastic003]. She is no longer a ward of the state, as her brother Roy Harper [[info]father_archer] has become her legal guardian. It was recently discovered that Tim’s friend Bernard Dowd [[info]bernard_dowd] is her half-brother.

Canon!verse: This verse vaguely follows current comic canon. Tim and Cissie have moved into an apartment in Metropolis, where she will be attending college in the fall while Tim begins his search for Bruce.

Happy Family!verse: In which they are still seniors in high school. Cissie is dating Tim, who lives at the Manor, where Bruce has locked Jason in the Cave for rehabilitation, Cass, and Steph have moved in and Dick, Babs and Damian are hanging around too. Oh, and there's Tim's alternate universe mini-me living there, too.

After graduating from college with a degree in physical education, Cissie moved to New York and continued her career as a competitive archer, while also teaching and coaching children in archery. At 21, she reconnected with her friends Bart Allen, Cassie Sandsmark, Kon-El and Tim Drake. Plans to reform Young Justice along with Supergirl, Spoiler, and Batgirl have recently been put on hold. Cissie had been planning to take on the name Beacon and serve the team in an advisory roll, working behind-the-scenes and monitoring communications, rather than becoming Arrowette again.

Shortly after reconnecting with her friends, Cissie began dating Bart. They have opened a bakery called The Frenzied Spork in Brooklyn, and have moved in together. They were engaged in July 2009 and married May 2010.
