ROAD TRIP, Day 8: East Harbor State Park, Ohio

Hello from Ohio! We are camping within sight of Lake Erie. It's kind of awesome. And cold, but that's okay. Today was another really awesome day.

We're at the East Harbor State Park tonight.



So we were caught in a rainstorm earlier and here we can see the clouds moving away over Lake Erie.



Look at this gorgeous butterfly!



Here's the breakwater, which Bart raced up and down about a zillion times in two seconds. It took the rest of us a little longer to make the trip once. ;)



So, looots of baby animals in the spring--geese!



Look! An actual swan!



Check out this sunset over Lake Erie. Wow.




I had a list. But somehow it got covered in mud and then soaked in the lake and I don't remember what was on it. (Also I'm just kind of tired and cold and I want to go snuggle and sleeep and hide in the sleeping bag.)

So--number of times Cissie has flaked on The List: 4. I'm half and half at this point.

It's the STRANGEST thing, Bart! It's like someone dumped me in a mud pit, smothered me in the stuff and then dropped me in a lake.

Yes, my other boyfriend. He does silly things like tackle me in mud puddles and pretend to be Nancy Drew and vibrate my pants in the van. He's very really very badly behaved.
