Damn stupid day.

I hate April Fools' Day. God help anyone who tries to prank me again today, I swear to God. I'm going for a run and no, I don't care that it's raining.

Bringing my cell phone because I'm not stupid, but I'm not really in the mood to talk.

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Hey. You okay?

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, just--pissed off. This is a stupid holiday.

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
It is.

I don't get pranked, mainly because I lose my temper spectacularly.

And from what I hear, that was a shitty prank.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. And I live in a dorm. Someone greased the freaking bathroom floor so I slipped first thing this morning, and there was sugar in the salt shakers and salt in the sugar bowl and then--argh.

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
....that's criminal mischief. That fucking sucks. Honey, next year you and I ca stay home and hide.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. That sounds good.

...Am I over-reacting?

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
It does.

I think you've had a shitty day and your boyfriend was dumb to top it off. No, not really. Overreacting would be punching said boyfriend in the face. If it had JUST been THAT prank, you might've been able to laugh it off, but a whole day?... I know I sure's hell wouldn't be laughing.

I'd whup Dick's ass if he did that to me.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
::sigh:: I guess it wasn't his idea--it was the other Tim's. And maybe the painkillers affected his judgment, I don't know. I haven't talked with him yet. I'm waiting until I'm not too mad to watch what I say.

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes mad is okay.

Rarely.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
I know. But he's hurt. Which is the whole problem, and I don't like fighting with him. ::sigh::

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe you should just chalk this one up to the day and ask for a little time to get unpissed.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, maybe. ::sigh:: I know it was a joke. I know they didn't mean anything with it. It's just--I hate when he's hurt.

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah...

And I know you do, honey. *hugs you* It was in poor taste. But Tim'll be okay. Provided you don't kill him.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
::small laugh:: That would probably defeat the point, huh?

[identity profile] father-archer.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Probably.

[Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
*hug* Should I ask? And there are some chocolates on your bed when you get back.

I'm not sure whether you'd approve of our pranks or not. I spring-loaded the inside of the salt pots last night so they'd spill all over Beth and Mary any expected jokers who tried to switch them for sugar. Sal convinced moose dorm that their bathroom had been greased like yours, and they spent five minutes walking very carefully on tiptoes in their bathroom until they realised. And Rach convinced Beth and Mary that the reason they couldn't get at the salt and sugar was because they'd already been switched, and the two of them ended up sprinkling salt all over their cornflakes. Using salt pots.

[Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, Traya. I could definitely use some chocolate. I just seem to be on the receiving end of a lot of pranks today--and Tim's alternate switched places with him and made me think Tim's injuries were healed. I didn't take it very well.

::laughs:: Actually, I like your pranks. Turnabout's fair play! (And, you know, no actual harm done there.)

I'm not surprised! Tim's one of half a dozen people I can't LART, sorry.

Traya waved to Cissie from the roof of Elias' as Cissie returned from the run, Traya's laptop on her lap. She was wearing a top that blended in well with the roof, and was only visible from the main gate.

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
...LART? I think you lost me.

Cissie waved back and shook her head, smiling and laughing to herself at the sight of Traya on the roof.

Luser Attitude Readjustment Tool. Setting all his ringtones to the Crazy Frog or something until he apologises. And I'm hiding from Rach and Sal up here.

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: That's funny--have you done that before to someone? I told him to wait before he apologizes, so I could cool down.

Oh? Why?

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup.

Because Sal greased her own shoes to fake the floor being greased and Rach salted her cereal to convince the others it wasn't salt. And they've realised that this was me pranking them.

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: All right, now I want details.

And oh boy--would you be safe hiding in my room or do you need to stay up there?

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure. And I'd be safer in yours, thanks. Race you there?

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Traya scampered across the rooftops, having deliberately left Cissie's window open when she delivered the chocolates for a reason (even if not this one). Catching a glimpse of a pair of girls, one with platinum-blonde hair and the other with very dark curly shoulder-length hair, she switched sides of the roof, and doubled back to take a slightly different roof. She scrambled around the three roofs, taking the long way round, then climbed in through the window she'd left open in Cissie's room.

Cissie ran the rest of the way to the building and up all four flights of stairs to her room, arriving just before Traya and flopping back onto her bed. When Traya came in, she grinned. "I win."

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Go you" Traya crashed into the chair, also grinning. "Feel better after your runs?"

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Cissie nodded, propping herself up on her elbows. "Yeah, a bit. It was a bad prank, but--I probably shouldn't have fallen for it at all."

"Miracles happen. Greta was dead and now isn't. And Green Arrow. Healing's nothing. And they were just mean."

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Cissie smiled sadly. "Yeah, I guess. I just--I feel like I should have been able to tell."

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Traya hugged Cissie. "Stupid boys. And thanks for letting me hide here."

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] cisskabob.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
Cissie hugged her back. "Anytime. And thanks for the chocolates." She picked one up and offered it to her. "Help me eat them?"

Re: [Traya]

[identity profile] oracle-knows.livejournal.com 2009-04-04 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Thanks." Traya pulled out a strawberry cream.
