Cissie listened to Bart with a soft smile, marveling a little at the pictures. She gently took the book from him when he finished, flipping back through a bit more slowly, taking her time as she looked at them so she could maintain her composure. It was strange, to see Bart's life--his family--and know she had missed it all. "They look like you," she said finally. "And Shannon is really pretty." She caught Bart's hand and squeezed it.
