1. Think of the FIRST word that comes to mind when you think of me.
2. Go to http://images.google.com and search for that word.
3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the FIRST page of results -- don't tell me the word.
4. Put this in your own blog so that I can do the same.

Cissie is:
notarrowette: (Thoughtful (Amanda bw))
My username is: [livejournal.com profile] cisskabob

My journal name is: Cissie. ...Because that's my name.

My title is: "Daylight is good at arriving at the right time." It's from All Things Must Pass by George Harrison:
All things must pass
None of life's strings can last
So, I must be on my way
And face another day

Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
It's not always going to be this grey

I like those lyrics. They're hopeful. (And for what it's worth, I picked this title a long time ago, when things... kind of sucked. They got better, just like the song says.)

My subtitle is: "Hope is floating on the breeze" From Waiting in the Weeds by the Eagles:
I've been stumbling through some dark places
Now I'm following the plow
I know I've fallen out of your good graces
It's alright now

And I've been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for the summer rain to fall upon the
Wild birds scattering the seeds
Answering the calling of the tide's eternal tune
The phases of the moon
The chambers of the heart
The egg and dart of small gray
Spiders spinning in the dark
In spite of all the times the web is torn apart

And I've been waiting in the weeds
Waiting for the time to come around again and
Hope is floating on the breeze
Carrying my soul high up above the ground and
I've been keeping to myself
Knowing that the seasons are slowly changing

My friends page is called: "I get by with a little help from my friends." Because I do. Also a Beatles lyric. Here, the song as used in Across the Universe.

My default userpic is: I like the colors in it, and I think it works as an illustration of me, if that makes any sense.

And that color meme going around )

Like Cassie said--interesting.

Like Cassie said, this was DIFFICULT! But I think definitely worth it.

Picture time! )

That was fun!

Photo meme!

Cassie says I don't have to be a photographer to play, so I'm playing! <3

Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in - it can be anything from the house I live in to my favorite shoes. Leave your choice here as a comment, and I will reciprocate by taking the pictures and posting them as an LJ entry. Ask for as many as you want. That way you get to know a little bit about my life, if you're remotely interested in it.

Requests so far )

[OOC: I will totally do this for both of Cissie's verses either in separate posts or cuts.]

There are 10 questions. They are to be answered with the following:
+a picture found in a flikr search
+a personal picture
+a word picture
+a lolcat
+one of your icons
+a song
+song lyrics
+a youtube video
+one word
+the answer

Any of the above options may be used for any of the questions, however, each may only be used ONCE.

1. What's the best advice you've ever received?
2. What's the hardest life lesson you've had to learn?
3. What is your greatest regret?
4. What is your greatest achievement?
5. What is your idea of love?
6. What is your idea of family?
7. What do you value most in life?
8. What do you value most in other people?
9. Where do you see yourself in 20 years and what are you doing to achieve this?
10. If you could choose one of your personality traits to pass on to your children, what would it be?

This took an *insanely* long time to finish. )
notarrowette: (You are my sunshine)
Stealing Cassie's photo meme because it's awesome!

Here's how it works:
a. Go to www.flickr.com
b. Type in your answer to the question in the "search" box
c. Use only the first page

A picture is worth a thousand words )
notarrowette: (Hold my hand and we're halfway there)
1) Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive.

2) NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.

3) They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.

4) You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.

Pictures! )
notarrowette: (All dressed up and nowhere to go [AB])
Here's how it works:
1. Go to www.flickr.com
2. Type in your answer to the question in the "search" box
3. Use only the first page
4. Insert the picture into your Blog

Also, fine. As long as I'm bandwagon-jumping:

Post a CONFESSION Meme
notarrowette: (wee!Cissie is sweet)
Post three pictures from your childhood
The catch? All three pictures must be:

From different years
Still be representative of who you are now
Explained as to why they still represent you

Picture Time! )

I don't know, my commentary skills suck. I'm not focused right now! But the pictures are fun!
